Corrections, disputes and removals

Gold Coast Child Care Guide is an independent directory of child care agencies and related services operating in the Gold Coast area. Each listing combines publicly available business details with a score and review summary calculated from public Google reviews using a single fixed rubric applied equally to every business listed. A listing costs nothing to create or keep. No payment changes a score, ranking, or how your information appears. This page explains how to request changes to your listing or to have it removed. Fixing your business details

If your name, address, phone number, website, opening hours, or the services you offer have changed, tell us the correct information and point us to where we can verify it. We check your website, your Google Business Profile, or other public records to confirm the update. Once we verify and apply a correction, it stays in place even when we refresh the directory data from public sources.

Disagreeing with your score

Scores are never hand-edited by us. If you believe your score is wrong, you are claiming the input is wrong: that we have matched you to the wrong business record, that reviews have been assigned to your listing incorrectly, or that our summary of what reviewers wrote does not match what they actually said. We re-examine the data sources and regenerate your listing. A dispute is not a request for a higher number, and disputing a correct score will not change it.

Removing your listing

Your listing can be removed if your business is permanently closed, if it is a duplicate of another entry, or if it sits outside the scope of child care services. We verify closure status monthly and remove closed businesses automatically during that cycle. If your listing is accurate and your business operates in child care on the Gold Coast, we may decline removal. We will tell you plainly why.

How quickly we respond

Every request gets an acknowledgement within 5 business days. Confirmed removals are completed within 7 days. If we decline your request, we explain the reason.
