Gold Coast Child Care Guide is an independent directory of child care agency businesses in Gold Coast, published by Scout Local Media. Listings and scores are derived from publicly available review data under a fixed, published rubric; the full method is set out on our how we score page. By using the site you accept the terms below.
Information, not endorsement
A listing or a high score here is not an endorsement. It is a summary of public review data at the time we processed it. Details go stale, businesses change hands, and reviews can be wrong, so verify anything that matters (credentials, pricing, availability) with the business itself before you commit. The site is provided for information only and we do not warrant that it is complete or current.
Referral disclosure
The site may earn referral fees when enquiries are routed to listed businesses or partners. Scores and rankings are unaffected by any of that: they are produced by the same published rubric for every business, and payment cannot move them.
If your business is listed here
If your business is listed on this site and a detail is wrong, or you want to dispute a score or request removal, the process is set out in our listing policy.
What you may not do
Use the site to research businesses and send genuine enquiries. Scraping or republishing the compiled directory content, submitting false enquiries, interfering with the site’s operation, and any unlawful use are all prohibited.
Intellectual property
Scout Local Media owns the compilation: the editorial text, scores, summaries, and the way the directory is assembled and presented. Source reviews stay with their authors on the platforms they were written on, and business names and marks remain the property of the businesses themselves.
Our responsibility
Scout Local Media provides the site as-is and, so far as the law permits, is not responsible for losses that follow from using it, relying on it, or hiring a business found through it. When you engage a listed business, that relationship is directly between you and the business. These terms do not exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and any dispute about them falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
Changes to these terms
These terms can change. The version on this page, dated above, is the one in force, and using the site after an update means you accept it. If anything here is unclear, contact hello@scoutlocalmedia.com.au.
